Oversee daily plant operations, ensuring adherence to production schedules and output targets.
Monitor and control operational costs, efficiency, and productivity KPIs.
Ensure availability of raw and packaging materials through effective coordination with procurement.
Lead capacity planning, scheduling, and execution of production plans.
Optimize batch processing, line balancing, and output efficiency.
Implement and maintain stringent quality control systems.
Ensure compliance with FSSAI, HACCP, GMP, and other food industry regulations.
Coordinate with QA/QC teams to manage audits, certifications, and customer requirements.
Ensure preventive and breakdown maintenance is performed efficiently.
Oversee equipment health, CAPEX planning, and machinery upgrades.
Lead a cross-functional team of Production, Maintenance, Quality, and Warehouse personnel.
Conduct skill development, training, and performance evaluations.
Build a high-performing work culture on the shop floor.
Enforce safety protocols and environmental standards.
Conduct periodic reviews, mock drills, and safety audits.
Drive Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, and Kaizen initiatives.
Promote cost-saving, waste reduction, and process automation projects.
B.E./B.Tech in Food Technology, Mechanical, Chemical, or related field (Master’s preferred).
Minimum 15 years of experience in food manufacturing (Pickles, Ready-to-Eat, Spices, or similar verticals preferred).
Strong knowledge of food safety norms, regulatory compliance, and operational excellence.
Excellent leadership, problem-solving, and people management skills.
Proficiency in SAP, MS Office, and production ERP tools.
